C. ; 45, Mecklenburgh Square, Bloomsbury; 47, Walpole Road, Boscombe, Hants. ; and (one) The Daily News Office, London. Dated 3 Aug 1897 to Dec. 28th 1900. To various recipients, mostly "Dear Murray" and a Mr. Vickers. From a letter to Murray: "In a day or two you will receive an advance copy of 'The Island' ... I have revised it throughout and written two new chapters; ...the drift of them ...is an estimate of the French literary movement which has led to the present failure of national justice in the Dreyfus case - for the failure is national ..."
