Folded for mailing. One card has a rough area with paper residue to the lower margin. The residue touches the name of the recipient, Thos. Wright. ; Collection of seven signed notes and cards. One of the notes is written in a different hand, but all are signed. The one-sided cards are 4 3/8" wide by 3 1/2" and have the printed heading (in part) Bridges, Chiswell, near Oxford. Not postcards as they are not addressed or stamped. This group of correspondence is to Thomas Wright, founder of the Blake Society, primarily concerning Bridges' membership. Comments include: "... I do not mean to send any money to any literary society till this was is over ..." and "I shall hope to make use of my membership after the war." With one postally sent envelope to Mt. Thomas Wright, Cowper School, Olney, Bucks"
