Folded. Left hand corners torn away. Offsetting and smudging of ink from letter having been folded before the ink had dried. ; Autograph letter signed Padraic Colum, one page, approx. 7 1/2" wide by 9 5/8", on lined paper. Handwritten heading [Brookfield? ] Villa, Donnybrook, Dublin, 9/11/10. To Mr. King, presumably an editor, agent or publisher: "I am taking the liberty of sending you a letter [no longer present] on Irish Political affairs. Perhaps you know of some paper in New York that would take it. ..."
