Covers have wear to the lower outer corners, probably with some chewing, and slight wear to upper outer corners. Covers and endpapers have some slight marginal damp staining, darker on the outer margin of the front endpaper. Spine has a touch of white paint at the upper end and other discoloration. Spine label is worn and barely legible. Front endpapers slightly foxed, rear endpapers foxed. ; Inscribed in pencil on the front free endpaper "To H. T. K. With love from F. P. K.
